NEW PRODUCT for medical purposes under development
A new product
based on DolphiScan`s core technology is under development.
The new scanner will provide 3D imaging of human skin for
diagnostics of skin diseases.
DolphiMed Company Information
DolphiMed AS was founded in October 2006 as a 100%
daughter company of DolphiScan AS. DolphiMed will develop
medical diagnostic equipment based upon DolphiScan`s ultra
sound technology.
DolphiMed is developing a hand-carried ultrasound device
(DolphiSkin) with 3D visualization for dermatology diagnosis
of skin related diseases (melanoma, panniculitis and
scleroderma). For aesthetic medicine complimentary skin
analysis equipment for energy based aesthetic devices (EAD)
is being developed. Because of DolphiScan`s revolutionary
core technology, construction and production methods,
DolphiMed will be able to offer easy-to-use, affordable high
quality ultra sound imaging devices at the point of care.
This R&D project has been financially supported by the
Norwegian Research Council. Strategic partners in the R
